Forest & Flint — About
Better Out There.
Forest & Flint is built on a simple idea: life gets better the moment you go and do something with it.
Ride somewhere you've never been. Make something with your hands. Sleep under the stars. Get soaked to the skin and laugh about it. Light a fire. Take the long way home. Wake up somewhere you had to earn. Sit around that fire with good people and stay far later than you planned.
We want more of that.
And we want to work with the people and companies who make it possible.
Forest & Flint creates photography and stories for outdoor, adventure and craft brands we actually believe in. The kind of kit we'd choose to carry ourselves, made by people who care deeply about what they're putting into the world.
Because a product is rarely just a product.
A motorcycle isn't a motorcycle. It's a thousand miles of unmarked track and a route you're making up as you go.
A light isn't a light. It's the reason the ride doesn't stop at sunset.
A knife isn't a knife. It's a bar of steel, a forge and a maker who's given years to learning how to do one thing properly.
Those are the stories we're interested in.
We start with questions, not cameras.
Understanding a product means understanding far more than what it looks like.
Why was it made? Who made it? What problem does it solve? Where does it get used, and by whom? And, above all, what does it allow someone to go and do?
Only then do we pick up a camera.
The strongest marketing starts with something real. So we put the product where it belongs. We use it properly. We get muddy. We wait for the weather instead of working around it. We meet the people behind it and stay long enough to understand why they care.
Then we tell that story honestly.
The aim isn't simply to make something look good. Plenty of people can do that.
It's to make someone stop and think:
I want to be there. I want to do that.
That's where desire starts.
What we make
Photography, films and stories built around products in use, the people who make them and the places they take us.
From field and lifestyle photography to brand stories, workshops, launches and longer journeys — made to live across campaigns, websites, editorial, social and print.
Who we work with
Motorcycles and overlanding. Outdoor and adventure gear. Knives, tools and handmade goods. Workshops, forges and independent makers.
We work best with people who'd rather be known for the right thing than known to everyone.
Good work sometimes means travelling further, waiting for the weather, or going back for a second attempt. That's the difference between filling space with content and creating imagery that makes people want to be part of something.
Forest & Flint exists to tell the stories behind things worth making, people worth meeting and experiences worth getting outside for.
And if that gives a few more people the push to close the laptop, open the front door and go make some stories of their own, even better.
There's a beautiful, wild world out there.
If you're building something worth getting out there for, tell us about it.
